I never heard of those in my entire career of being an teenager

ShadowyMoon
10-02-2007, 05:29 PM
Most of them are metal and rock bands. And they aren't what you'd usually see on MTV so that's why you haven't heard of them.

jap88
10-02-2007, 05:37 PM
MTV sucks anyway :p I listen to a very large variety from different artists, but other than the ones i mentioned not enough to mention them. Usually just a song or two. Can't say that classical isn't that bad though. But anyway, anything orchestrael is the best :p

Sparrow94. Best known for his invasion plans. It comprises of sending a lone operative into a given country and infects the local populace with spam. In this way it creates civil strife within the country and leads to rebellion of the lower classes against the government. Afterwards he simply says "ahahahahahaa, that was fun!" and returns to governing himself...

ShadowyMoon

The idea was to blow up Mars itself for the sake of fun but that's top secret of course.

I would have to say Carl Orff, o fortuna is great and it seems that a lot of music for games and movies is based on it that sounds good, I can't find an earlier person with the same style.

Insomnium is one of my new favorite bands. A perfect combonation of talent and power, they do away with the whole "Wall of noise" that most new bands put out and single out every instrument. Reminds me of 1rst generation punk, but heavy metal.

here is a quite epic song of the folk metal band Ensiferum: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yR2BEip1-GQ

Otomotopia: that's a good drummer. My personal favorite drummer is Jan Axel Blomberg "Hellhammer":) He is most likely the fastest drummer in the world and he was incredible when I saw him live.
