Not new or anything like that, but new to this particular forum. I remember registering in half a dozen Reverie forums up to this day :)
Anyways, an ex-art director of Reverie and current lead technical artist of a military simulations company, nicknamed Chris here. Good to read about the project after all this time again :)
Back in my days, for anyone that may be interested and never has seen before, the very very old DoF screens with 'faked' bloom effect looked like that:
